Amber was started with the intention of providing people with a company that allowed flexible working arrangements. This was before the COVID-19 pandemic and before remote working was standard practice within the wider engineering sector. Whilst remote working has become expected as the new normal, we believe that we still do this better than everyone else and we truly want our staff to have flexibility.

We understand that everyone has different lives outside of work and flexible working can look very different for each individual. Perhaps you want to be able to work more from your favourite holiday spot, or you would like to be home in time to pick your children up from school, or you would like to work a nine-day fortnight to give yourself a free day. Regardless of what flexibility looks like to you, we work with our team to ensure they are able to get the work/life balance they need.

The company goal has developed over time to be more than just a company that provides flexible working arrangements. We want to be known for being a great place to work and providing people with rewarding careers. This means a lot of things and can look different for each person. We want to:
