Nowra Biogas Facility

The biogas facility is a renewable energy power plant that uses breakthrough technology to convert food waste and cow manure waste into energy using anaerobic digestion. The waste is collected from nearby dairy farms and converted into gas that powers turbines, with all waste product returned to the farms as fertiliser. Amber prepared a Traffic Impact Assessment for the project which assessed the ability for the surrounding road network to accommodate the vehicles utilised to transport the material. An assessment was undertaken for the construction traffic movements and swept path diagrams were prepared for key nearby intersections.
